چکیده

An experiment to study the response of bio-organics on soil fertility status, growth and yield parameters Black Gram (Vigna mungo) was conducted during Zaid (April- July) season in 2021-22 at central research farm department Soil Science Agricultural Chemistry, SHUATS, Prayagraj. The Experiment a randomized block design with having two factors three levels both vermicompost b Neemcake 0,50, 100% per ha resulting nine treatments Data collected included bulk density, particle pore space, water holding capacity, pH, EC, organic carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus potassium. On gram plant height, number leaves plant, pod length, pods test weight, dry weight grain were collected. Treatment 9 which comprised neem cake 5 t ha-1 had an effect physical chemical properties soil. Results significant maximum values space 48.20% 46.96%, capacity 43.22 41.98%, carbon (%) (0.181and 0.182%) , Nitrogen 264.45 265.50 kg ha-1) Phosphorus 24.82 24.15 Potassium 186.58 178.41 0-15 15-30 cm depths respectively. same treatment recorded height 34.6; branches 37.33; 31.66; 32.88; 21.65; (B:C) ratio 1:1.56; gross returns Rs/ha-1 129600 net profit 74720 highest 12.096 75 DAS Further experimentation will help better understand effects make desirable recommendations.

Varied Responses of Black Gram (vigna Mungo) to Certain Foliar Applied Chemicals and Plant Growth Regulators

The studies on growth regulation in black gram cv. ADT (Aduthurai) 5 exhibited significant changes in growth, physiology and yield due to chemicals and plant growth regulators. Foliar application of NAA @ 40ppm at pre-flowering stage influenced growth characteristics by showing increased plant height, more number of branches, higher leaf area index and leaf area duration. But, with regard to ph...

Effect of seaweed liquid extract of Caulerpa scalpelliformis on growth and biochemical constituents of black gram (Vigna mungo (L.) Hepper)

Effect of Seaweed Liquid Extract (SLE) of Caulerpa scalpelliformis on growth and biochemical constituents of Vigna mungo was studied. The lower concentration of SLE of C. scalpelliformis (25%) enhanced the percentage of germination, shoot length, root length and biochemical constituents viz., chlorophyll, carotenoid, amino acid, reducing sugar and total sugar contents and α-amylase and β-amylas...
